No. Pawn Express does not currently accept any type of firearm.
Item value is based on the current appraised value, condition, and our ability to resell the item.
When a customer brings in jewelry as collateral for a pawn loan or simply to sell, we use specialized tools to test precious metals and diamonds to determine their worth. Part of the process includes testing the metals with a special acid solution to determine the karat of the gold. This is done to ensure there are no false readings on your item that may prohibit us from giving you a loan on that particular piece. Diamond tests include a visual inspection using a jeweler’s magnifying glass/loupe, at which point the sales representative will take note of the size, weight, clarity and color of the stone(s).
The price of gold is based on market value, which fluctuates on a daily basis. As part of our daily routine, we continuously adjust our prices based on fluctuations in the gold market.
